Dr. Patricia CorcoranDr. Corcoran is a professor for the Department of Earth Sciences at Western University with a research focus on gaining on understanding of Earth's changing processes over time. A significant part of her research looks at accumulation and degradation of plastic debris near shorelines and sediments of lakes, rivers and oceans. Her work has been featured in renowned scientific journals such as Elsevier, Environmental Pollution and GSA Today.
